Avonlea Fisher Gained Real World Experience as an Intern

Avonlea Fisher, a 20-year-old senior from Cheverly, MD concentrating in Political Studies and Social Action/Social Change spent the Fall 2016 Semester interning at The Council for Equity and Inclusion in Great Barrington, MA as part of the Bard College at Simon's Rock Internship Program.

Fisher attended Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School before leaving after 11th grade to enter college early.

Each year, Bard College at Simon's Rock provides students with the opportunity to relate their academic studies to the world outside the classroom.The Internship Program exposes students to a consortium of influential thinkers at companies and organizations in various fields of interest.
